Hello, I’m Amelia Pearl, a freelance photographer originally from a small town in Minnesota. I hold a BFA in Photography from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. My work focuses on travel, landscape, nature, and equine photography, blending natural light, thoughtful composition, and a timeless style that often highlights both vibrant color and striking black-and-white imagery.

With an extensive background in the horse industry and years of experience showing horses, I understand the connection between horse and rider and the details that make each equine athlete unique. That firsthand knowledge allows me to create authentic, dynamic images that capture the beauty, personality, and spirit of every horse. Whether at horse shows, private sessions, or on the farm, I enjoy preserving these special moments for fellow equestrians.

I currently reside between Okinawa, Japan, and southern Minnesota with my active duty military husband, which gives me the opportunity to travel and photograph diverse landscapes, cultures, and equestrian communities around the world. In addition to traditional photography, I also capture unique perspectives through drone photography, allowing me to showcase locations from both the ground and the sky.
